It has already been a year since the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic started demolishing the world. Started in Wuhan, China, COVID-19 has now conquered almost all the territories in the world. Therefore, the health officials were trying to come up with a solution for the virus for months and months. Finally, they could develop several vaccines for the virus. Moderna vaccine (mRNA-1273) and Tozinameran vaccine (Pfizer) are the most talked-about vaccines for COVID-19. So, let’s compare these two vaccines.

First of all, let’s get to know the meaning of vaccination. According to the World Health Organization (WHO) vaccination is a simple, safe as well as an effective way of protecting people from hazardous diseases, before they come into contact with them. Vaccination uses your body’s natural defences to build resistance to specific infections and also makes your immune system stronger. Most of the vaccines are given by injections. However, some can be given by mouth or by spraying into the nose.

What is Tozinameran?

BioNTech and Pfizer developed this COVID-19 vaccine, Tozinameran. However, we often use the term, Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine to describe it. This vaccine is the first to get the authorization by a stringent regulatory authority. This is given by intramuscular injection.
